New 34 mm AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak automatic winding frosted gold

Audemars Piguet expanded the 34mm Royal Oak automatic winding series that was first launched in April 2020 and added a frosted white gold watch. This is a jewelry technology developed in 2016 in cooperation with Italian jewelry designer Carolina Bucci.

The frosted gold finish is inspired by ancient Florentine jewelry techniques, which Carolina Bucci reinterpreted in her jewelry creations. Carolina assisted Audemars Piguet’s craftsmen to develop it into a clockwork suitable for the Royal Oak case and bracelet. A diamond-encrusted tool is used to form small dents on the gold surface to produce a sparkling effect similar to "diamond powder".

This 18-carat white gold watch features a new blue-toned iconic Tapisserie dial. The white gold hour markers and hands perfectly match the case.

You can admire the automatic movement 5800 and its dedicated rose gold oscillating weight through the open caseback. This hour, minute, central seconds and date movement has a 50-hour power reserve and is water-resistant to 50 meters.
