The Hawks will visit the Brooklyn Nets Friday night and havent played well on the road as evidenced by a 2-4 mark. They are 8-2 at home and went 3-1 on a recent stay at Philips Arena. Atlanta posted its third straight win and ninth in 12 tries with Tuesdays 109-105 triumph versus the Boston Celtics, as Kyle Korver knocked down six of his seven 3-point attempts en route to 24 points. Korver scored 13 points in the second half. Paul Millsap and Al Horford scored 19 and 16 points, respectively, for the Hawks, who made 52.4 percent from the field, 11-of-24 3-pointers and scored 28 points off 23 Boston turnovers. We executed well on offense, and our defense was key in the second half, Millsap said. The Hawks are averaging 10.7 points per game in the last five and are ninth in scoring with 103.8 ppg. They need to tighten up the defense and are 24th in opponents scoring at 101.7 ppg.
