(SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Pelicans hope to have young star Anthony Davis back in the lineup Tuesday versus the Utah Jazz. Davis suffered a bruised chest in the first quarter of Fridays win over Cleveland and did not return. He then missed Sundays 128-122 overtime loss to the streaking Golden State Warriors and is questionable tonight. The talented big man is averaging 24.3 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocks. New Orleans had the Warriors, the NBAs best team, on the ropes and was outscored by a 17-11 difference in OT. Warriors guard Stephen Curry poured in 34 points and Klay Thompson added 29. Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday scored 34 and 30 points, respectively, in defeat and Ryan Anderson netted 15 for the Pelicans, who shot 46.5 percent and had won three of their previous four games. New Orleans shot better than 50 percent over the first three quarters, but was a combined 11-of-30 in the fourth quarter and overtime.
