anMINNEAPOLIS – An MRI has revealed Maicer Izturis suffered a complete tear of the lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his left knee. Izturis will seek a second opinion before opting for surgery, which will require a rehabilitation period of four to six months. The imaging, conducted in Minneapolis, confirmed Izturis worst fear. "Its in the knee, I felt it pop twice," Izturis said after the Blue Jays 11-3 win in Baltimore on Sunday. "Now I feel pain. Its sore right now. Im worried about it."
